This article refers to a process used on sites that have not been migrated to the New WMS yet.

OVERVIEW

Target audience: Site Administrators, Site Managers

Use the Clone functionality in the Web Management System (WMS) to quickly make an identical copy of a Basic page or Article, including text, images, files, and tags.

To Clone a Basic page or Article:

  1. From the Administration toolbar, click My Workbench
  2. Find the Basic page or Article in the list of All Recent Content
  3. Click the clone link in the ACTIONS column
  4. Change the title. By default, this is "Clone of existing page/Article name"
  5. Edit the remaining fields as needed. These fields are the same as those you completed when creating a page or an article.
  6. Save
